  • February 21, 2013

Comcast Corp. will no longer accept ads for guns or retailers selling guns, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Comcast is adopting guidelines similar to NBCU, the Los Angeles Times reports. NBCU does not accept ads for fireworks or assault rifles or handguns, although the NBC Sports Network permits ads for hunting weapons. Also, the network will no longer carry the show "Guns & Gear."
