MediaMath has promoted Matt Spiegel to senior vice president-general manager for the Americas, a new post making him responsible for all of MediaMath’s sales, accounts and
business development teams.
Spiegel, who reports to MediaMath Chief Strategy Officer Eoin Townsend, had been senior vice president-general manager of Open unit, a
role he has had since joining the company in December, when MediaMath acquired mobile ad platform Tap.Me. Spiegel had been CEO of Tap.Me, which has now been integrated into MediaMath’s
TerminalOne media-buying platform.
Prior to Tap.Me, Spiegel held multiple roles at Omnicom Media Group, including CEO of Omnicom Media Group Digital, CEO of Annalect
Marketplaces, and managing partner of Annalect Ventures.
