Raycom Expands Rentrak Ratings Deal To 30 Stations, 23 Ad Markets

Nielsen rival Rentrak this morning announced a multi-year, multi-market expansion of its digital set-top TV ratings contract with Raycom Media. The new contract adds KCBD (NBC) Lubbock, TX; KFVS (CBS) Paducah, KY-Cape-Girardeau, MO; KSLA (CBS) Shreveport, MS; WECT (NBC) and WSFX (FOX) Wilmington, NC; and WDBD (FOX) Jackson, MS.
 
Raycom started using Rentrak’s data in 2010 with two stations: WBTV (CBS) Charlotte, NC and WBRC (FOX) Birmingham, AL. Since then, Raycom has expanded its use of Rentrak’s data, and currently uses it for 30 stations represent 23 TV advertising markets.
