Germany Fines Google Over Street View

Google has been fined about €145,000 by German data regulators for illegally collecting personal data through unsecured Wi-fi networks, during its development of Street View service. In addition, regulators have called on European lawmakers to considerably raise fines for breaching data protection policies.
