WorldNow To Share Social Analytics With Local TV, Radio, Newspapers: Cuts Exclusive Deal With Shareablee

Local TV, radio and newspaper Web site ad network operator WorldNow has signed an exclusive three-year agreement with Shareablee to provide “social analytics” to all of its local media affiliates in the U.S. The company said the deal will provide “real-time analytics” to the local media companies based on data from social media users.

"Social is an extremely important metric that most are only scratching the surface on,” stated WorldNow Founder and CEO Gary Gannaway, who emphasized that Shareablee’s platform was significant, not just because of its access to raw data, but the insights and recommendations it generates.

He described it as something that would enable local media to “track the correlation between their social performance and ratings.”

Shareablee was founded in 2011 by former Visible World and comScore exec Tania Yuki.
