After Sandy: Home Depot Hosts Hurricane Workshops

The Home Depot says it will offer 700 Hurricane Preparedness Workshops, in what it describes as an “unprecedented single-day effort.” The workshops will be held on the East Coast, from Maine down to the Florida Coast, and is due to predictions that this year will also have above-average hurricane activity. In addition to the free workshops, it says it has expanded its storm operating plans, enhancing supply chain readiness, including a new distribution depot serving Long Island.
