Sponsors for this week's free
Wall Street Journal Online will include the software company Adobe and mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, according to a
Journal spokeswoman. In an effort to
lure more subscribers by offering free samples, the company is making the site available for free for five days, starting today. Financial services and travel company American Express also will
sponsor a sweepstakes contest on the site, with a prize of a six-night cruise aboard the Queen Mary II. Nonsubscribers can participate in the sweepstakes, and can also sign up to receive a free trial
of
The Online Morning Brief, which the company launched on Oct. 27.
