StrikeAd Raises $7 Million

  • September 16, 2013

Mobile demand-side platform (DSP) StrikeAd this week announced closing a $7 million second round of financing led by Karlin Ventures.

Others participating in the round included new investors Canyon Creek Capital and Scentan Ventures, as well as existing backers DFJ Esprit, Softech VC and Siemer Ventures. Europe-based Kreos Capital provided a debt facility as part of the investment.

The company earlier the year announced raising $3 million from DFJ Esprit as well as moving its headquarters from London to New York. In May, StrikeAd launched a new unit—StrikeAd Engage—focused on providing mobile brand advertising and rich media opportunities separate from its DSP business.

As part of the latest funding, Karlin Ventures partner Tianxiang Zhuo will join StrikeAds’ board.
