Adaptive Media To Acquire Online Video DSP Ember

Adaptive Media, a subsidiary of Mimvi, this week announced it has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire Ember, a demand-side platform (DSP) for online video advertising.

"Programmatic is the future of digital advertising, so acquiring Ember is a very strategic move for Adaptive Media. This gives us an important and valuable real-time bidding (RTB) platform that we expect to generate millions of dollars of revenues in the future," stated Adaptive Media Founder and Mimvi CEO Qayed Shareef. "The pool of inventory available in real-time through exchanges is growing incredibly quickly...." He added that the company is acquiring Ember for their engineering team and technology in order to keep up with the RTB market.
