Centro Hires Malhotra From Microsoft As SVP Of Products
Centro is expected to this week announce the addition of Raju Malhotra as senior vice president of products. He will be responsible for the development of features and functionality of Centro's digital media planning software.
“I love the challenge of creating new products in this area of ad tech that is emerging so rapidly," Malhotra told RTM Daily. He added that he
hopes to help Centro customers be "more creative and nimble in their own businesses."
Malhotra joins Centro from Microsoft, where he was director of product management. He led the product strategy and launch of Bing Shopping while at Microsoft.
Shawn Riegsecker, CEO of Centro, believes Malhotra "is an important addition" given his background in creating "user experiences on the Web and across PCs, mobile phones and tablets."
A little more than a month ago, Centro added Oracle's Michael Radovancevich as its chief technology officer. The company plans to double its software and engineering team over the next 18 months.
