MIS To Monitor Commercial Clutter

Media Information Services (formerly Advertising Information Services, or AIS) Monday announced plans to enter the TV commercial monitoring field with a new service tracking commercial clutter. The service, which will track one week out of each quarter, will monitor all non-program prime-time commercial activity on 12 networks - ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, A&E, Discovery, ESPN, Food, MTV, TBS, TNT and USA - including second-by-second logs of all commercials, PSAs, promos, credits, split-screen promos and in-show graphics.
