Williams Takes International Client Post At Carat

Kate WilliamsCarat has tapped Kate Williams for the role of international client president for the global network’s APAC region.

Williams will be based in Singapore and will report to Sean O’Brien, CEO Carat Asia-Pacific.

Williams is tasked with advancing product development, as well as driving “consistency and collaboration across the region” according to the agency. She will work with existing International clients and also contribute to new business development efforts. 

“As technology and media continue to converge ever more rapidly, we need to continue to attract that understands how best to leverage this convergence to drive business value to our clients through media,” stated O’Brien. Williams fills the bill, he added. 

Williams joins from Columbus Media International, the global collective for independent media agencies, where she worked for seven years as managing director. At Columbus she was responsible for launching and expanding the network. She previously worked at UK Independent media agencies BLM (now Arena Media) and Walker Media.
