MediaVest Cuts Giant Upfront Deal With Google, First Of 2013-14 Buying Season

MediaVest has cut an upfront deal with search, display and video giant Google covering video, display and mobile inventory in the U.S. for the upcoming year.

The deal -- said to be a first-of-its-kind and by far the largest digital company upfront deal struck by MediaVest -- is likely to be the first significant digital upfront deal of the 2013-14 upfront buying season.

Among other things, it covers:

  • All of MediaVest’s U.S. clients (including Coca-Cola, Honda and Walmart) will now easily have access to high-quality online content like:

    • YouTube partner channels

    • Top-tier sites in the Google Display Network, including NBC, People.com, and Glamour

    • High-quality mobile content, including AdMob mobile app network and mobile display network

  • MediaVest will get access to Google insights tools and strategists, YouTube and creative resources as they look to create compelling digital experiences for their clients

Mediavest doesn't do this stuff because it's in their clients' best interest. They do it to get the agency's name in the trades. And you guys blindly play along. Jackasses.
