RadiumOne, an advertising software company that helps to automate the media-buying process, has announced the addition of Steve Westly to its board of directors. He was previously an executive and eBay and a board member at Tesla Motors.

Westly is currently managing partner and founder of The Westly Group, a venture capital firm focused on "clean technology."

Additionally, Westly is a former politician, having served as California State Controller and chief fiscal officer from 2003 to 2007.

"Politics and technology do mix," a RadiumOne representative quipped.

Westly joins Robin Murray, Ajay Chopra, Steve Eskenazi, David Silverman, Bill Lonergan and Chairman Gurbaksh Chahal on RadiumOne's board of directors.

"I’m excited to work alongside Gurbaksh and other board members," Westly stated.
