Women and men use digital communications tools differently, according to a report from Extreme Networks. The study revealed on average both genders use 3.4 types of media for messaging. While men
expect to reign it in to less channels, women expect to use more, according to the report. Email was the most popular channel used for communication, with less than 1 percent of people surveyed said
that they did not use email. Ninety-two percent of people use the phone, and 87 percent use text messaging. Women expect to increase their texting more than men do.
