Gary Anderson to acting president-CEO of the Detroit Newspaper Agency from executive vice president-CFO. He replaces Frank Vega who left to become president and publisher of the Hearst Corporation's
San Francisco Chronicle. The agency is jointly owned by newspaper giants Gannett and Knight Ridder.
