Yahoo Mail Outage is a Huge Blow to the Company's Rebrand: Analyst

Yahoo is still experiencing email issues a week after its initial problems. This is not helping the online giant with its revamp. Patrick Moorhead, an analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, told Computerworld, that the crash is a huge blow to a company that is trying to rebrand its image. "I don't recall any other service like this being down this long over the past 15 years," he told the magazine. "It makes Yahoo look like a real Web rookie. If Yahoo doesn't fix [it soon], day-by-day they will continue to lose more credibility as a Web services company."
