Rdio Shutters Video Start-up

Music streaming service Rdio has shuttered its video-on-demand start up, reports Mashable. "Despite our efforts, we were not able to deliver the differentiated customer experience we had hoped for," the company stated on Vdio's site. The company will refund any purchases and stopped accepting transactions as of Friday. It is also offering Amazon gift cards for any purchases or rentals that have not expired.
