gotHBO launched an online video that highlights the top tweets from its social media roast of King Joffrey Baratheon from “Game of Thrones.” #RoastJoffrey took place Dec. 12-13, with more than 60,000 tweets submitted for the king everyone loves to hate. Celebrities, brands (Burger King, Nokia and Charmin), TV shows (“American Pickers,” “Pawn Stars” and “Hannibal”) and actors from the show participated in the event, which built excitement for the show’s upcoming fourth season. The video meshes “Game of Thrones” scenes with clever tweets submitted to the #RoastJoffrey event. Highlights include: “Out of all the murderous psychopaths born out of secret royal incest, you’re my favorite,” “Father’s day must put him in a pickle” and “In high school, Joffrey was voted most likely to be slapped.” Watch the video here, created by 360i.
