Hard Work Pays Off For Carat, Other Agency Of The Year Winners

Madison Avenue’s media elite turned out Tuesday night to celebrate MEDIA’s “Agency of the Year” winners, including Carat, which was named media agency of the year for the second consecutive year.

In accepting, Global President Doug Ray, noted that the task was not easy, and that his organization worked hard for it, including weekends, but that they are passionate and committed to the pursuit of excellence.

As were the recipients in five other categories, including:

Holding Company: Interpublic’s Mediabrands

Independent/Smaller Media Agency of the Year: SMG’s Spark

Full-Service Agency of the Year: MediaHub/Mullen

Media Executives of the Year: Initiative’s Jim Elms and Peter Mears

Supplier of the Year: Acxiom

And Client of the Year Chipotle
