Google revealed today that a glitch in its iOS app for Gmail caused a number of users' emails to be deleted or marked as spam. "You may have been impacted by a recent issue in Gmail that
inadvertently caused some actions (e.g. delete, report spam) taken while viewing a message to be applied to a different message," the company explained in a notification. "The issue occurred between
January 15 and January 22 and is now fixed." Google is encouraging users to look for any lost emails in the trash or spam folders.
