Unicast Teams With Microsoft, Dynamic Logic On Video Commercials

As part of its new "Video Commercial" format, rich media advertising developer Unicast today unveiled a unique relationship with Microsoft's Windows Media team. Unicast said the new TV-like ad units, which utilize a patented "pre-cached" delivery method that requires no downloading for users, is built on Microsoft's new Windows Media 9 Series platform. Separately, Unicast said online market researcher Dynamic Logic to test the effectiveness of the Video Commercials that run during the format's beta launch. Some of the advertisers participating in that test include AT&T, Honda, McDonald's, Pepsi, Vonage and Warner Bros.
