MEC Taps Pasqua As Mobile Head

MEC has named Rachel Pasqua as head of mobile for MEC North America. She succeeds Andy Wasef in that role, who has left the company “to pursue other endeavors,” according to MEC.

Prior to joining the agency, Pasqua was vice president, mobile at iCrossing, where she founded and oversaw the emerging media group, working with clients including Toyota, Kia, Hilton and LG.

Previously, as executive director of mobile at Organic, she ran the agency’s Emerging Media Lab, and was a co-founder of Token Digital, a product-focused strategic design agency.

Susan Schiekofer, president, digital, MEC North America, stated that Pasqua will "help us guide and grow our mobile offering at MEC, enabling us to bring our clients still more innovative mobile marketing solutions.”

In addition to her agency work, Pasqua, who will report to Schiekofer, is the author of two books, Mobile Marketing: An Hour a Day, (John Wiley and Sons, December 2012), and "The Responsive Brand," due for release this year.
