Dig Marketing Analytics? Boston "Analytics Week" Is Calling You

Dig marketing analytics? Free next Thursday night? Have we got an event for you.

Boston's first "Analytics Week" kicks off on Monday. And Thursday will be all about marketing.

Billed as an "unconference," Analytics Week is intended to discuss the challenges businesses face in utilizing Big Data.

Organizers smartly made the "unconference" an after-work event. The conference will run nightly from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., from March 24 to March 28, with each day focusing on using analytics in a specific industry. 

Marketing will be in the spotlight on Thursday, March 27. A panel of industry experts is slated to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with using analytics in marketing. Panelists will include Ben Clark, software architect and director for Wayfair; Bill Simmons, co-founder and CTO of DataXu; Cesar Brea, partner at Force Five Partners; Raj Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of Localytics; and 
Rama Ramakrishnan, founder and CEO of CQuotient. 

The "unconference" will also focus on using analytics in sectors such as healthcare, financial services and human resources. Events will be held at District Hall in Boston's Innovation District, and at hack/reduce and the Microsoft N.E.R.D. Center in Cambridge. Admission is $10.
