DataXu, a demand-side platform (DSP), on Thursday announced a new interface meant to encourage agencies to build in-house trading desks. Using DataXu’s platform on a self-serve basis does not come at an additional cost, a company representative told RTM Daily. “In fact, our self-serve customers save considerably by using their own teams to execute their campaigns, because they are not paying us to manage their media investments on their behalf,” the rep added.
