Build it and they will come. At least that's what the Boston Globe is banking on.
As part of its ongoing renovation, the Globe has expanded its real estate pages into a new 12-page section
called "Address" which will target not only traditional home buyers but also Millennials looking to buy or rent their first home.
According to the Globe, "Address" will showcase new
features and columns that focus "on the lifestyle, rather than the business, of real estate."
Section staple "Home of the Week" will continue to run, but with more photos. New columns
include "Location, Location, Location," which will focus each week on a specific neighborhood; "One Great Room," a detailed look at what makes a fabulous room fabulous; a soup-to-nuts advice column
called "Ask"; and a first-time home buyer/renter's testimonial called "My First Home."
In addition to traditional real estate listings, "Address" will also feature a detailed list of real
estate transactions in the reader's circulation area.
So you no longer have to go to Zillow to see how much your neighbor actually got for his house.
"Address" will make its
debut this Sunday, March 30.
