Verizon at the Center of Email Scandal

New Jersey’s Board of Public Utilities (BPU) has received hundreds of emails, allegedly from hundreds of different citizens, which claimed to support Verizon's demand that
the company not have to build broadband infrastructure it had promised. The problem is, all of the emails were written exactly the same, raising a red flag that these emails actually stemmed from
Verizon. Citizens whose names were used in these emails have come forward reporting that they did not write the emails.
