Developed by literacy experts, Learn with Homer (not he of the “The Simpsons”) gives early readers a wide set of interactive tools built around phonics and sound modeling. That includes a library of beautifully illustrated stories, science field trips, and drawing and voice-recording features. The app has clearly been crafted with learning in mind, providing sequential programs to build reading skills using the child-friendly format of an iPad.
