Ad Club Announces Finalists For 2014 Rosoff Awards For Diversity

The Ad Club has announced finalists for its 2014 Rosoff Awards honoring corporations and individuals for their commitment to diversity and inclusion issues in the Greater Boston area.

Finalists for the Marketing to a Diverse Audience Award include Arnold Worldwide for their work with CDC, Global View Communications for Eastern Bank, and Mullen for MassMutual. For the Non-Profit Initiative Award, which recognizes the work of organizations that strive to "bridge the gap" between corporations and communities, the finalists are Citi Performing Arts Center, Junior Achievement of Northern New England, and Year Up.

This year's finalists for the Rosoff Mentor Award are Sylvia Ferrell-Jones of YMCA Boston, Mary Grimes Finley of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and John Sims of Bentley College. The award is given to an individual who has gone far beyond their professional requirements of providing mentorship and support to a diverse community.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, EY and Interpublic Group are all finalists for the Internal Diversity Initiative Award for their dedication in creating a more inclusive and diverse work environment. Finalists for the External Diversity Initiative Award, which honors organizations for their community outreach efforts, are Care.com, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and Suffolk Construction.

Winners will be announced during an awards ceremony on May 13 at The State Room at 60 State Street in Boston. Keynote speakers will include former U.S. Sen. William "Mo" Cowan and Boston Mayor Martin Walsh.
