PulsePoint Taps Preis From Mocean Mobile

Online ad exchange PulsePoint on Monday
announced the appointment of Julie Preis as SVP of product management.
Preis joins PulsePoint from Mocean Mobile, where she helped develop its mobile ad serving platform. She was previously general manager of Ansible Mobile -- a joint venture between IPG and Velti.
At PulsePoint, Preis will be tasked with helping advertisers target consumers without an over-reliance on cookies, particularly as it relates to mobile and cross-device advertising.
"Mobile has become a change-agent for
the advertising industry, and it's shifting how we think about both existing and future products here at PulsePoint," Preis told RTM Daily.
“The marketplace can
no longer rely on third-party cookies and a narrow white list to assign value to an impression,” Preis said in an earlier statement.
Preis was named one of the “Most Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising” by Business Insider in 2012 and 2013.
