Two months ago,AMCtapped Tracey Lentz, formerly with 3Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA, as vice president of unscripted programming. Now, the network has announced three new unscripted series for next year.

AMC, which achieved acclaim for its original series -- “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad” and “The Walking Dead” -- has greenlit “All-Star Celebrity Bowling,” “Visionaries” (working title) and “The Untitled Billy Corgan Wrestling Project.”

The Corgan project, eight, one-hour episodes, stars The Smashing Pumpkins frontman, a leader on the indie music/alt rock scene. Here, Corgan focuses on professional wresting. Now creative director of a Chicago league, Corgan take viewers behind the scenes in the wrestling docu-series.

For those who prefer less physical sports, the eight, 30-minute episode “All-Star Celebrity Bowling” is adapted from Chris Hardwick’s Web series of the same name. Each week, two celebrity casts, drawn from the world of sports, TV, music and pop culture, compete against each other. All bowling for dollars wins are donated to charity.

The first show features Jon Hamm and the cast of “Mad Men” versus Hardwick and his team.

The final effort is “Visionaries” -- six 30-minute episodes that follow the Vision Scenery staff, who design and build Hollywood props and sets for TV shows and commercials. The team of blue-collar artists, sculptors and designers, working within tight deadlines, tackle every part of the job -- from planning to execution.

Eliot Goldberg, AMC’s senior vice president of unscripted programming, stated the shows "represent AMC’s continuing push to find truly original ideas and explore fascinating worlds.”
