Last year, White Castle rolled out the Crave Mobile, a mobile food truck available for private rentals. Now, the fast food chain and its AOR Omnicom's Zimmerman Advertising Fort Lauderdale are launching the #CraveMobile Contest to win a visit from the Crave Mobile for a party with 50 of their closest friends.
"We know there are Cravers out there who were introduced to White Castle at a young age and cannot imagine their life without our sliders," says Jaime Richardson, Vice President, White Castle. "But we also know there is a generation of people who might not have had the opportunity yet. We see this contest as the chance to unleash the power of the crave to new and old Cravers alike and to ignite a slider passion throughout the country."
Through midnight on July 31, 2014 entrants can log into one of three social media sites - Facebook, Instagram or Twitter - to explain why they deserve to win a Crave Mobile party as well as attach a photo or video to enhance their explanation.
Entries will be judged on how compelling their argument is (50%); creativity and originality (30%), and quality of content, specifically whether it is submitted through photo or video (20%). Then, one winner will be announced on September 2 and will have the Crave Mobile delivered to their doorstep for a party with 50 friends.
"From White Castle weddings to tattoos to more than 500,000 requests to bring the Castle to them, our loyal fans have some extreme stories about what they will do to satisfy their crave and show how powerful it can be," says Richardson. "That's why we are inviting all our fans to capture what makes their memorable moment stand out and why they truly deserve to win."
White Castle operates more than 400 restaurants in 12 states.
