Propel Marketing Expands Digital Services, Dives Deeper Into Mobile

Quincy, Mass.-based Propel Marketing, one of the area's fastest-growing marketing firms, is expanding its array of digital services and diving deeper into mobile.

The digital marketing group will now offer video production, logo and customized landing page design. Propel also announced that it was moving away from traditional Web site design and will now only create responsive design or mobile-friendly sites for clients.

The firm already offers Web site design, SEM/SEO, social media management, display advertising, retargeting, online directory services and reputation management.

“Recognizing that Google prefers responsive-platform Web design, and knowing half of all searches now take place on mobile devices, the time seemed right to move away from standard Web sites,” said Kaijsa Kurstin, Propel's director of marketing.

Propel's new video services will offer professionally produced 30 to 60 second MP4 spots that can be used to boost SEO and as content for social media platforms. The firm noted that many online shoppers now use video to help them make purchasing decisions.

Propel said creating campaign-specific landing pages will enhance its existing SEM, display advertising and retargeting services. “Strong, customized landing pages that relate directly to the advertised message help drive conversion rates,” said Kurstin. “We’ve already seen the results these pages can produce during our beta testing, and we’re very excited to make this product available to all of our clients.”

Propel is a subsidiary of newspaper publisher GateHouse Media.
