McCann Promotes Pablo Walker To CEO Of Its European Operation

McCann Worldgroup has installed new leadership at two of its international regions. Pablo Walker, who has been President of McCann Worldgroup Latin America & Caribbean, has been promoted to President of McCann Worldgroup Europe. He succeeds Gustavo Martinez who left for JWT earlier this year. Fernando Fascioli, who has been CEO of McCann Worldgroup Chile, has been promoted to succeed Walker as President of McCann Worldgroup’s Latin America & Caribbean region.

Harris Diamond, Chairman and CEO, McCann Worldgroup, said, “As we look to Europe, the need for clients across the region to reach diverse populations economically and culturally will increase. Pablo’s track record is one of proven success in leveraging our global multiplatform capabilities to benefit our clients and their growth initiatives.”

Commenting on Fascioli’s promotion, Diamond said, “In recent years Fernando has driven the success of our Chilean operations. During his tenure in leading Peru and then Chile he’s focused on integrating our businesses, improving our product and driving growth.”

Walker has been with McCann’s Latin American operation for more than two decades. This year McCann Lima and its Coca-Cola client won a Grand Prix in the media category at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Like Walker, Fascioli, who began his career in his native Uruguay, has also progressively taken on larger roles within McCann. He worked for many years at McCann Peru and became CEO, and then took on additional responsibility as the region’s Chief Growth Officer before being named CEO of the Chilean operation a few years back.
