Assembly tapped Jeff Brooks, former CEO of M&C Saatchi, as chief commercial officer. In this role, Brooks will lead Assembly's business development, strategic services and creative agency
partnerships. He will report to Martin Cass, CEO of Assembly. "If you're building a different kind of media agency, it would follow suit that your leadership team also looks different," said Cass.
"Most media agencies don't have former creative agency CEOs on their team, especially those of Jeff's pedigree and reputation. We are all excited about the experience, energy and fresh perspective
Jeff will bring to Assembly and our clients." Brooks joins recent hires Catherine Warburton as chief investment officer and Michael Nicholas as chief experience officer, on Assembly's management team.
Prior to his role at M&C Saatchi New York, Brooks was CEO and chief digital officer of Euro RSCG and managing director of Atmosphere. "It's hard to define what
isn't media in this day and
age," said Brooks. "We are still at the very beginning of a massive sea change and the creative opportunities are boundless. I've been itching to make this shift for a while and was waiting for the
right time and place. I think I've found both."
