MRM//McCann Lands AOR Assignment From Cisco Systems

MRM//McCann, the digital and direct marketing arm  of  Interpublic’s McCann Worldgroup, has been named global demand generation agency-of-record for data networking giant Cisco Systems, the companies confirmed Friday. The selection came after a formal review.

Previously the client did not have an AOR shop for global demand generation.

The assignment is being led globally from MRM//McCann’s Salt Lake City office, the network’s global B2B “center of excellence." The Agency’s San Francisco, London, Singapore, Beijing and Buenos Aires offices will also help service the account.

Joseph Puthussery, VP of Marketing, Global Demand Center for Cisco, stated: “MRM//McCann brought the most inventive ideas to the process, and genuinely understands the role Cisco plays in bringing powerful connections to the world. To that end, we are pleased to begin a new relationship with MRM//McCann as our Demand Generation partner moving forward.”
