Journal Register Company Chairman, President and CEO Robert M. Jelenic today announced the promotion of KEVIN F. WALSH to publisher of the New Haven Register effective January 1, 2002. Walsh replaces THOMAS E. RICE, who in addition to his duties as senior VP of Operations at the company, has been publisher of the New Haven Register since March of 2001. Rice will continue in his role as Senior VP of Operations.
