Irish Police Force Error Exposes More Than 1,700 Email Addresses

Ireland's police force, the Gardaí, sent an email to its list of recipients yesterday but forgot to BCC the message, exposing the email addresses of 1,746 people. The email bulletin, which contained tips on community watch programs, was sent by mistake, the agency said. The organization has apologized for the email and has recalled the email.
