Asda customers will soon be able to buy products through the supermarket's YouTube channel. The brand is experimenting with 'shoppable' videos and online adverts. It is currently running trials on
videos posted to its Mums Eye View channel which allow a shopping list of products to be placed alongside a videos. Clicking on any product would prompt the viewer to log into their Asda basket, add
the item, then check out -- all without leaving YouTube.
