Dunkin' Runs Video Contest For Dark Roast Launch

In another addition to its promotions around National Coffee Day on Sept. 29, Dunkin' Donuts is kicking off a video contest tied to its new dark roast coffee.

Through Oct. 12, adult U.S. consumers can enter original videos in the “DDance for Dark Roast” contest to earn chances to win a grand prize of $5,000, or one of 10 prizes of a year’s supply of the dark roast coffee.

The contest entry site, www.DDanceForDarkRoast.com, features an introduction video from Maria Menounos, host of E!'s "Untold" and "Live from E!."

To enter, users download the song "Clap Your Hands” by Richey Lam, record themselves dancing to the song (using their "boldest, smoothest moves"), and post their videos to Twitter, Instagram, Vine or Facebook using the hashtag #DDanceForDarkRoast.

In all of its marketing for Dunkin' Donuts Dark Roast, the QSR is stressing that the coffee variety is Rainforest Alliance Certified.
