OpenX Taps Roth As Communications Head, Appoints 2 Other Execs

OpenX on Tuesday announced several executive appointments to bolster its leadership teams. The company has appointed Deborah Roth as chief communications officer, a new position at the company. She will report directly to CEO Tim Cadogan and will work from the company’s New York office.

Roth most recently oversaw communications at Fab. Prior to that, she led communications at LendingTree and Pandora. During her time at both LendingTree and Pandora, she oversaw communications as each company went through an IPO, respectively.

“Deb is a powerful addition,” stated Cadogan. “Her ability to translate a company’s unique value proposition to the market and build global brand awareness make her an ideal choice to grow OpenX’s communications activities worldwide.”

Additional appointments include Scott Braley as SVP of demand and Julie Van Ullen as senior director of publisher business development.

Braley joins OpenX after serving as U.S. sales and global agency head at Facebook’s Atlas division. He was previously with the Atlas division at Microsoft and aQuantitive, per a release. He will be headquartered in the company’s New York office.

Van Ullen was most recently VP of Member Services and is a “veteran of the IAB,” per a release. She will also work from OpenX's New York office.
