YuMe Taps Bindra For Programmatic Ops Amid Q3 Earnings

Digital video ad tech firm YuMe announced its Q3 2014 earnings on 2014, reporting that it had generated $43 million in revenue during the quarter, up 19% over Q3 2013.

However, YuMe had to revise its full-year guidance, projecting revenue of $54 million to $58 million in Q4 2014 and total 2014 revenue of $175 million to $179 million. This comes after YuMe had to reduce its full-year revenue expectations at the end of Q2, as well.

YuMe’s CEO, Jayant Kadambi, said in a prepared statement that the company is continuing “to invest in adding programmatic demand and supply channels” to its platform. To help the company’s programmatic business, Hardeep Bindra was appointed executive vice president of operations.

Bindra joins YuMe from Collective, where he served as EVP of platform and corporate development. Prior to Collective, he held positions at AdBrite and Right Media.

“Hardeep’s expertise will help us accelerate our execution on programmatic and ad operations initiatives,” stated Kadambi.
