Sky Italia Moves 70% Of Brand Advertising To Programmatic

Sky Italia, an Italian digital broadcaster owned by BSkyB, on Monday announced that 70% of its brand advertising is done programmatically, using Turn’s demand-side platform (DSP). Sky Italia has also announced it will use Turn’s data management platform (DMP).

Turn is working with Simple Agency (AMNET), Sky Italia’s agency of record, to create consumer audience profiles for Sky Italia. To date, Turn has created 22 profiles, per a release.

“The plethora of data available to the broadcast industry has made digital marketing increasingly complex,” stated Aldo Agostinelli, Sky Italia’s digital marketing and sales director. “Our customers are demanding personalised viewing experiences -- and this extends to all of the ways we engage with them through marketing.”
