Programmatic Vet Kline Named CMO Of AOL

AOL this morning named Allie Kline CMO of all of AOL, succeeding Erika Nardini, who is leaving as CMO of AOL Advertising at the end of the year.

Kline joined AOL in January 2013 as CMO of AOL platforms, focusing on marketing the company’s programmatic platforms to advertisers, agencies and publishers.

AOL said she will continue to oversee marketing for AOL Platforms, which is poised to launch a new centralized offering, “ONE by AOL” in the first quarter of 2015.

As part of her new role, Kline will oversee AOL’s global marketing strategy, including corporate, video, and content marketing, as well as programmatic.

Prior to joining AOL, Kline was CMO of 33Across, and has more than 20 years of experience in brand management and marketing strategy working for technology-focused companies.
