Hockey is hockey, no matter how it's played. On August 18, 2014, Gatorade invited the sledge hockey team, The Cruisers, many of them Paralympic athletes who performed at Sochi last year, to be filmed for a Gatorade documentary about the athleticism and skill exhibited in their sport. The brand surprised the sledge hockey players with a group of NHL Players to play a game of sledge hockey with them. Sidney Crosby, Scott Hartnell, Claude Giroux, Logan Couture, Ryan Miller and Nathan MacKinnon experienced firsthand just how difficult it is to play a game of sledge hockey.
