CyberAtlas: Internet Statistics and Market Research for Web Marketers offers numerous studies and reports about various sections of the industry, such as finance, wireless, and advertising. The information is clear cut, and the site is easy to navigate.
NewMedia is all about what’s next when it comes to the Internet. The site is divided into three categories: Business, Design, and Technology, all of which contain articles of relevance that are listed by day. A helpful feature of this site is that the bottom of each article contains links to four other articles that are considered “of interest” if one is reading the current article. This makes for a reduction in time used searching the net for more articles on a particular topic.
WirelessAdWatch contains articles and briefs dealing with, obviously, wireless advertising. Its Profiles section deals with the companies, and people, that are involved in the wireless world, and when one clicks on a specific company they not only get a profile, but a link to the company’s site, a list and brief history of top executives, and links to past news about the company. WirelessAdWatch is definitely a useful source for anyone working in wireless, but it would be even more useful if the news sections of the company pages were updated more often.
There are multiple email list resources in this area; however they are broken up into so many subject categories one would have to subscribe to dozens in order to get what they want. At that point you may also be getting a lot of things you don’t want, so keep that in mind.
Lastly, there is a SearchEngineWatch as well as a few domain name sites, the best of which being DomainNotes. I’m not sure who needs this much info on the subject of domain names, but if you’re one of those people, enjoy!
