Recommend magazine has a new sales team in New York. KEVIN PHILLIPS and JEFF FOLEY will both represent Recommend sales efforts in New York, as well as oversee the Northeast region. Phillips served as the ad director for Travel Agent for four years and also worked for Tour & Travel News. He then rolled out the local network for AOL Time Warner in the Northwest U.S., focusing on the travel category and expanding representation opportunities for the network. Most recently, he managed West Coast sales for Recommend magazine. Foley has more than 20 years experience. He started his career as a media planner at Foote Cone & Belding in Los Angeles and later worked as a Midwest manager (Chicago) and European manager (London) at The New Yorker and as an advertising director at Victoria Magazine in New York.
