Denny's' New Kids' Menus Feature Interactive Games With DreamWorks Characters

Denny’s is launching a kids' menu featuring interactive content and characters from DreamWorks Animation films and TV series.

In addition to "customizable" kids' dishes — including several approved by the National Restaurant Association's Kids LiveWell healthy dining program — the chain's kids' menu now seeks to engage Millennial families by offering puzzles, games, and digital content featuring DreamWorks characters, starting with "Penguins of Madagascar," "Puss In Boots" and "Turbo FAST."

Denny's customers will also be able to color DreamWorks characters featured on the kids' menu, then use the DreamWorks Color App (app's Web page header shown above) to view the characters in 3-D, take selfies with them, and play within the virtual worlds they're creating.

Denny’s will offer three more DreamWorks kids' menus during 2015, inspired by the films "Mr. Peabody & Sherman," "The Croods," "Home," "How to Train Your Dragon" and others.

Denny’s will support the DreamWorks partnership with in-store marketing, as well as a custom-animated national 15-second TV spot that uses the DreamWorks characters to promote the new kids' menus and the chain's "Kids Eat Free" Tuesdays offer.

The restaurant chain is also encouraging fans to engage with the brand through various social media promotions.
