JOHN BRITTON: The New York Times

The New York Times Advertising Department announced this week that JOHN BRITTON has been named West Coast Automotive Advertising Managing Director. In this role he is responsible for advertising sales for The New York Times Sunday Magazine's automotive business on the West Coast, including all Asian imports and Ford, Premier Auto Group, as well as the newspaper's automotive business. Previously he was Account Manager on the West Coast at The New York Times since October 2001. Prior to joining The Times, Britton worked in Los Angeles with Men's Journal magazine and USA Today, and began his career in advertising at TBWA Chiat/Day.
