The Weather Channel recently promoted TERRY CONNELLY to Senior Vice President and General Manager of The Weather Channel. Connelly had been Senior Vice President of Programming, Production and Operations; he will continue to oversee these departments. Connelly led the teams responsible for on-air programming at The Weather Channel, including the concept and development of Storm Stories, part of the network's primetime programming strip.
